Churches In Mission was organized in 1987 by three local ministers who were concerned that the needs of the low income families in Mooresville were not being met.
When Churches In Mission was started we to served 70 families per month with food and now we are serving more than 270 families per month. And that is just food. We also assist families financially with their utilities and rent.
Future expansion:
In the distant future we pray that God directs us to open a shelter were we can provide housing for those in need. There are so many people out there that does not even have a place to live, they just walk the streets looking for shelter. Being able to provide that shelter, along with food, clothing and spiritual outreach, would be such a blessing for Mooresville and the surrounding areas.
