In 2025, Churches in Mission broke all previous service records by providing more than 21,000 acts of assistance to our Morgan County neighbors in need. The 13,163 food orders provided come close to doubling the food assistance provided during the 2020 pandemic. Your help is needed to ensure we can provide for the needs of the more than 2,500 households who come to us for assistance.
Our keynote speaker, Medal of Honor Recipient Sammy L. Davis, is no stranger to serving to those in need. His heroism in Vietnam saved the lives of three of his comrades and became the basis for Forrest’s heroism in the book and movie Forrest Gump. Learn more about Sgt. Sammy L. Davis.
Doors will open at 5p.m. for a reception, photos, and book signing. Dinner begins at 6p.m. Our silent auction will last throughout the evening, ending with our live auction items. Dress in patriotic business casual attire.
