Limited financial assistance for housing and utilities is available for clients who meet the requirements.
PRIOR to coming to Churches in Mission, clients are encouraged to utilize our free food, clothing, hygiene, and household item assistance to help save funds for rent and utilities, as our funding for rent and utility assistance is extremely limited.
We also ask that clients utilize the following resources:
Morgan County Township Trustees (rent, utility & other assistance)
South Central Community Action Program (utility assistance)
South Central Community Action Program (housing assistance)
St. Vincent de Paul Martinsville or St. Vincent de Paul Mooresville

Clients should call the closest Churches in Mission location (see bottom of page) BEFORE bills are due to set up an appointment. Clients should bring their current bill and proof of residence in Morgan County. Clients requesting financial assistance will need to attend a one-on-one financial counseling appointment. Payments will be made directly to the landlord/utility company
Financial assistance can only be given once per 12-month period.
